I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I have ADHD and anxiety and sometimes I need to work myself up to be able to respond to comments. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops. I share your work on the monthly Roost Recommendations posts at ornerybookemporium.blogspot.com so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
Sorry, the Captcha is back and this time it's staying. I was inundated with spam comments when I turned it off. I wish butt rash on all the spammers out there.

What great dialogue! Loving these ghouls!
ReplyDeleteThis totaly goofy, my friend. I enjoyed every word.
ReplyDeleteThese two are very funny--maybe it's the accents, I'm not sure--but I can imagine them perfectly! Great snippet!
ReplyDeleteNot being familiar with that slang, I went down a completely different path mentally as to what the character was saying LOL! Then I re-read the snippet and the light dawned - "hang on a tick..." as in time! I liked the "undead since 1918" comment - very amusing. So, all in all, enjoyed the snippet!
ReplyDeleteLove their dialogue here!
ReplyDeleteThose are some interesting characters you have going on there! Can't wait to find out more about them.
ReplyDeleteI'm curious to know who Ketil Nagel is. I do love these two's banter.
ReplyDeleteYou're a writer after my own heart! I am so very very skeptical of writers who finish drafting on Tuesday and publish on Wednesday, so I'm glad to hear you're taking your time. Your thoughts on the relative merits of Nanowrimo and Camp Nano resonate with me, as well. I'm aiming for 35,000 words this month, which is more than leisurely but doesn't demand I forgo everything else in life.
ReplyDeleteI love the character's voice and how you describe it. Great snippet!
ReplyDeleteHey Cee! Good to see you.
ReplyDeleteI love their otherworldly dialect! There's a stripe of humor running through this tale. :-) I just bought it on Amazon.
