Now, this sounds like a really interesting book! I promised myself that I wouldn't take on any book reviews outside of the Online Book Club because I've been pretty overwhelmed with projects, but I may have to see if I can still get a review copy of this one.

    It sounds like a book right up my very broad alley. I am fascinated by 'life and times' investigations which bring history to life for me as formal lessons (largely devoted to rulers and battles) never did.
