Peregrine's Briny Obsession #MFRWHooks #RainbowSnippets #SnipSun #8Sunday

Genre:
M/M erotica, sci-fi

Length:
3000 words (approximate)

Mature Content Advisory:
This post contains no explicit erotic content. The book that it is excerpted from contains explicit descriptions of erotic activity between consenting adults and is intended for mature readers only.

Blurb:
After escaping from the clutches of submissive mad scientist General Darden Uffe Bissette and his dangerously seductive amphibious pleasure clone Finn Storm, renegade military officer Colonel Zaccheus Ionescu and runaway roughneck Iker Macauley brought their captivated comrades to the mysterious monks at Temple Bratuns.
Ohannes was swiftly swayed from his obsession with Finn by the tender touch of the handsome young Brother Vishal Mohammad Beumers. Peregrine Varga, however, remains deeply in Finn’s thrall. Can the monks work their lusty magic on the mesmerized roughneck, or is Iker fated to lose his best friend with benefits to the merman’s infectious kiss?

Snippet:

As the sedative wore off, Peregrine Varga’s mind was filled with the insatiable need to find Finn Storm, the amphibious mutant pleasure clone designed by the unscrupulous General Darden Uffe Bissette. The serum in Finn’s saliva had Peregrine mesmerized. He was fighting to regain control of his mind but was unable to escape the memory of Finn’s salty kiss and the bliss of floating beneath the waves with the beautiful merman.

“Finn!” Peregrine moaned, straining against his restraints. “You can’t keep me here! I must return to him! I order you to release me at once!”

Announcements
I am pleased to announce the new Roost Recommendations feature on the Readers Roost blog. Click the link below to check out the first installment.

During late 2020 and early 2021, I was actively involved in creating promo posts in conjunction with several book tour services as well as independently for fellow authors. My participation in these activities has dwindled considerably due to my immersion in several projects of my own.

Readers on Twitter often ask for book recommendations, which I enjoy giving because I like to help my fellow authors. Sadly, Readers Roost has had nothing but brief, boring blurb posts for the last several months. However, that problem has been resolved.

The weekly Roost Recommendations post provides links to the posts of authors from the four blog hops that I participate in regularly, plus buy links where applicable. I can now share the Roost Recommendation post with readers on Twitter.

Hopefully, the Roost Recommendations posts will generate interest in the works of my fellow authors as well as making up for the fact that I am sometimes a bit crap when it comes to commenting. Instead of just a dumb quip (or crickets) from me, you now know that your work is being shared regularly on Twitter. I think this is a win-win solution and I hope it helps generate some interest for all of you.

    1. Thanks Janet. I always post the entire first chapter of the new Cloned Heat books to coincide with the MFRW Steam Hop on the second Tuesday of every month. The other excerpts through a given month tend to be shorter.

I included your book in this week's Reader's Roost Recommendations. I can't remember if your blog was one of the ones that ate my comment. There were several that did!

I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I have ADHD and anxiety and sometimes I need to work myself up to be able to respond to comments. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops. I share your work on the monthly Roost Recommendations posts at ornerybookemporium.blogspot.com so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
Sorry, the Captcha is back and this time it's staying. I was inundated with spam comments when I turned it off. I wish butt rash on all the spammers out there.
