Deb and Val #8Sunday #SnipSun

My story, Prodigal Moon, was selected to appear in the Wayward and Upward anthology from Off Topic Press, a small Canadian publisher. Details follow below.

Genre: Paranormal, Supernatural, Vampires

Length: Short Story

Heat Level: 1 Flame (suggestions of romance)

Blurb
A young man makes a new friend who is much older than she appears to be.

Snippet
She was wearing a knee-length olive-green gown that looked like it might have been all the rage in the 1920s and a pair of shiny, malachite-green shoes.

"Hello," the girl greeted.

"Hi yourself," Valentins returned.

"I'm Deborah Virgo. My family just moved into the house across the road from you."

"Valentins Hines."

  1. I'm intrigued. Dressing from another era . . . hmmm. Nothing suspicious there!

I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I have ADHD and anxiety and sometimes I need to work myself up to be able to respond to comments. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops. I share your work on the monthly Roost Recommendations posts at ornerybookemporium.blogspot.com so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
Sorry, the Captcha is back and this time it's staying. I was inundated with spam comments when I turned it off. I wish butt rash on all the spammers out there.
