The Quest for the Wizard's Key is the second book in a series of New Cthulhu Mythos tales. This fix-up novel features a fascinating cast of outcasts joining in a quest to save the Cosmos from destruction by malevolent forces. Join them on their madcap journey.
Are you tired of the same old formulaic romance dance?
Are you sick of slap-dash slashers and predictable plot
point rehashers?
Are you at the end of your rope with sparkly vampires and
sexy werewolves?
Have you had it up to here with silly space operas where the
otherworldly setting is just a veneer for the randy crew to make out with
aliens?
Is it time to drop the buddy cops and stop watching the
detectives for a while?
My friend, let the New Weird Tales refresh you!
You’ve tried the rest, now it’s time for the best. Welcome
to an adventure like no other!
Snippet
“Revered Leader, we have
visitors from the Third Dimension.”
The speaker was a great snake
with flexible, boneless arms. He held a trident in one hand. His golden scales
glittered under the red sun that baked the desert world of Zandanua.
“Indeed,” mused the mighty
emerald-scaled anthropomorphic snake king seated on the colossal throne of red
stone in the grand hall of Ajnevan Palace. “Were they sent by my brother, Yig?”
“They are renegades, Mighty
One,” the guard explained. “They are searching for a key to assist in solving a
quest given them by Nyarlathotep.”
Notes
This fix-up novel follows the events that transpired in
Ketil and Yitzy’s Adventures in the Xura Dream House. The book can be read as a
standalone, but for a better understanding of the characters and events, it is
suggested that Ketil and Yitzy’s Adventure in the Xura Dream House should be
read first. It is a fun, fast-paced buddy story. Grab your copy here!

Once you have read Ketil and Yitzy’s Adventure, you will be
In the Know so you can be In with the In Crowd! Then you can join us at the
Kewl Eldritch Horrors table.
I am currently doing final edits and managing the book's details on Amazon. A pre-order link should be available soon.

Interesting snippet this week!
ReplyDeleteThanks. :-)
DeletePulled me right in. Snakes . . . Why did it have to be snakes? (forgive the reference to one of my favorite movies!).
ReplyDeleteMovie references are always welcome.
DeleteExcept for Alien 3. I'm still angry about the $5 I paid to watch that mess.
Intriguing snippet, loved the descriptions!
ReplyDeleteThank you.
DeleteI love the vivid description of those snake creatures.
ReplyDeleteThanks. :-D
DeleteJust curious as to the perspective here... If they are all snakes, why would they notice that their companions were snakes... or even reptiles?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I understand the question. The king and the guard are snakelike beings. The visitors aren't. This becomes clear later in the paragraph.
