My sleep schedule is a hot mess. I love writing at night, but I don't love sleeping during the day. A lifetime of ADHD, a screwed-up endocrine system, and years of working the night-shift have ensured that my sleep schedule is in the upside down a lot of the time. Plus, now we're in the three to four months of scorching hell part of the year. Heat makes me sleepy.Ornery Owl of Naughty Netherworld Press and Readers Roost https://www.blogger.com/profile/07596105116325246476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284813757094643990.post-50992199907904968102021-06-06T03:40:34.261-06:002021-06-06T03:40:34.261-06:00Most of my writing ends up being too dark to be ac...Most of my writing ends up being too dark to be accepted, although I'm editing the piece I submitted in 2018 and it was kind of obvious that I rushed it through at the last minute. (In fairness, it was pretty dark too.) I've had to do a lot more editing on it to get it ready for publication than I did with Dark Matters, to which I made just a few small changes.
I never expect my work to be accepted in other places that I submit it to, which means I'm never hurt when it isn't.Ornery Owl of Naughty Netherworld Press and Readers Roost https://www.blogger.com/profile/07596105116325246476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284813757094643990.post-43910957058035853412021-06-06T03:38:21.220-06:002021-06-06T03:38:21.220-06:00My productivity rhymes with ADHD and, oddly enough...My productivity rhymes with ADHD and, oddly enough, ADHD is the reason for my productivity. I always have to be doing something, and I tend to hyperfocus, usually on writing. I suck at housework, and it shows.Ornery Owl of Naughty Netherworld Press and Readers Roost https://www.blogger.com/profile/07596105116325246476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284813757094643990.post-61496274874119754082021-06-02T19:03:37.913-06:002021-06-02T19:03:37.913-06:00Sounds like you have a pretty good routine. I wished there was more of them in the movie!
I had a very large, bulky Siamese cat called P.E. (short for Public Enemy #2.) We (my ex-husband and I) got him in 1992. I knew something was wrong when he started rapidly losing weight. I had to have him put to sleep in 2007.
I'm a pretty prolific writer. The problem comes when I finish a piece (other than the erotica shorts.) I end up looking at it and going "oh, hell, now what do I do with this?" I have a huge backlog of material that I need to answer that question for.Ornery Owl of Naughty Netherworld Press and Readers Roost https://www.blogger.com/profile/07596105116325246476noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284813757094643990.post-80678999194292043152021-06-02T08:19:01.664-06:002021-06-02T08:19:01.664-06:00"I occasionally submit pieces for rejection i..."I occasionally submit pieces for rejection in other places." LOL! I thought I'd avoid that problem when my writer friend and I started our own publishing company. I STILL haven't published a novel.

I've always loved Si and Am from Lady and the Tramp. They so perfectly personify the real thing. Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
