Introduction
The Team Netherworld Creations publishing company was
created to inflict works such as this one on an unsuspecting world. These pulpy
serials were inspired by the likes of the mad New Englander From Beyond the
Stars, H.P. Lovecraft himself, and by the mad cultists who created the Chaosium
RPG.
To reduce the genre of these tales to the most basic
component, they are Cthulhu Mythos fan fiction. This ain’t no high-fallutin’,
highbrow literature. This ain’t no popular fiction neither. These are the New
Weird Tales.
With apologies to Sheryl Crow, “All I Wanna Do” started
playing in my head when I wrote that paragraph, and I went with it.
For years works such as this one remained unpublished or
published only on blogs which no-one reads. Now, for the first time, they have
been unearthed and published in e-book format for a new group of nobodies to
never read. Regardless of any desire on part of the public for the New Weird
Tales of Team Netherworld, this sort of writing is our true passion, and it
shall remain confined to a dark dungeon no longer!
In years past, novelettes and novellas fell out of disfavor
with readers. Now, with the advent of e-books, these forms are making a
comeback, and we couldn’t be happier. We at Team Netherworld Creations can be a
bit slow on the uptake, but we’ve finally realized that it means we can publish
our work in smaller chunks rather than waiting until we have an entire novel
put together. This means more chances to inflict our brand of Weirdness on the
world, and we are chortling gleefully at the prospect.
If you happen to enjoy the insanity which we have inflicted
upon your unsuspecting mind, you are now one of the Afflicted. Greetings,
fellow Cultist! We welcome you!

Head Buttmunch in Charge, Team Netherworld

I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I have ADHD and anxiety and sometimes I need to work myself up to be able to respond to comments. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops. I share your work on the monthly Roost Recommendations posts at ornerybookemporium.blogspot.com so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
Sorry, the Captcha is back and this time it's staying. I was inundated with spam comments when I turned it off. I wish butt rash on all the spammers out there.
