I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I have ADHD and anxiety and sometimes I need to work myself up to be able to respond to comments. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops. I share your work on the monthly Roost Recommendations posts at ornerybookemporium.blogspot.com so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
Sorry, the Captcha is back and this time it's staying. I was inundated with spam comments when I turned it off. I wish butt rash on all the spammers out there.

I love Ketil's dialogue--reminds me of Data in Star Trek: Next Gen. Or is that the way all the characters talk? Whatever, interesting snippet.
ReplyDeleteKetil is a fair bit snarkier than Data. He's the ghost of a Swedish metal musician who sacrificed himself to the Great Old Ones. His head's a bit of a mess, but his heart's in the right place.
DeleteInteresting snippet, especially the idea of a creature with no lungs.
ReplyDeleteYes, his body is very adaptable to almost any atmosphere. It would come in handy!
DeleteSuch an imagination you have! And your descriptive writing makes the scene immersive for the reader. :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you. This story is very different from the ones I had been working on. Erotica level: zero. Snark level: turned up to 11. ;-)
DeleteTotally interesting. Well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you. :-)
DeleteIntriguing snippet pulling us deeper into your world. Nice voice established for your characters.
ReplyDeleteThanks. These two have an easy rapport with each other, so they're fun to write.
DeleteMany elements for an intriguing story, where to even start?! Cool stuff...
ReplyDeleteThank you. :-D
DeleteHee! This dialogue is fabulous and fun! Really nicely written snippet! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. I enjoyed writing it!
DeleteYour illustration from Astounding Stories was perfect, as the snippet has a certain pulp sci fi feel.
ReplyDeleteAh, then I succeeded! Thank you.
