"Could I see what you're working on?"

"Sure. Come on up."

The girl appeared to float just above the ground as she crossed the lawn. Her rose-colored lips bowed in a reserved smile. As she drew closer, Valentins noticed her unusual eyes. At first, he supposed that the rufous shade was a trick of the

  1. Ooooooh! Nice hint of WooWoo there! If I were him, I'd lock my doors - not that that will help!

  2. Eyes are always interesting. These sound intriguing. Tweeted.

  3. Butt rash on all spammers indeed! I totally understand.

As for the snippet... Valentin sure is watching her. Boy is he watching her. :-)

  4. Sorry to be so late in commenting this week! Oooh, loved the description of her eerie eyes! Humans are always so slow and so reluctant to recognize what they might be dealing with, aren't they? Terrific snippet!

I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I have ADHD and anxiety and sometimes I need to work myself up to be able to respond to comments. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops. I share your work on the monthly Roost Recommendations posts at so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
Sorry, the Captcha is back and this time it's staying. I was inundated with spam comments when I turned it off. I wish butt rash on all the spammers out there.
