It's Official, I'm Certifiable

I am participating in the 30,000-Word Jersey Romance Writer's Month Challenge. Go me! Go straight to the looney bin!

Actually, I'm already working on yet another piece for potential inclusion in a Dragon Soul Press anthology. I have a 20,000-word goal on this one. Plus, I'm already doing the final edits on The Quest for the Wizard's Key. So, my participation isn't quite as daft as it might otherwise seem.

Besides, how can I lose when I have Jerry Rhino in my corner?

On the surface, it probably doesn't make much sense for me to be a member of the New Jersey Romance Writer's Association. I live in Colorado and I don't really consider myself a romance writer. I'm alternately a weird fiction writer whose stories sometimes include romantic subplots and an author of cheeky erotica sometimes set in otherworldly locations. As a poet, I mostly pen verses about how much love stinks, not how lovely it is.

However, the NJRWA folks are a nice bunch, and, you know, how can you say no to Jerry Rhino?

By the way, if you're interested in finding out more about forthcoming Dragon Soul Press anthology calls, here's the link. Don't say I never gave you anything.
