Length:

Mature Content Advisory:
This post is on fire. If you would rather not encounter blistering hot man-to-man action, back away from this post.

🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Blurb:
While fleeing fearsome Pingucury raiders, hunky roughnecks Iker Macauley and Peregrine Varga encountered Ohannes Hertz, a pleasure clone left for dead at Lord Gabriel Blackwood's ranch. The grateful Ohannes offered the pair a place to hide and refresh themselves, and the trio became intimately acquainted.

Iker and Peregrine hope to get Ohannes to the safety of the monastery before they return to company headquarters for their new assignment, but their mission is interrupted by a group of randy renegade soldiers under the command of the rogue general Darden Bissette.

Finn Storm is an amphibious pleasure clone created by Bissette to fulfill his merman fantasies. Finn is full of surprises and Ohannes swiftly falls under the seductive siren's spell.

Snippet

A black stone carved in the shape of a letter G adorned one cufflink and a letter B adorned the other.

“Put ‘em in your carrying bag and let’s scat,” Iker commanded. “We ain’t got all day to traipse down memory lane, Babycakes.”

“What was Master Blackwood’s first name?” Peregrine inquired as the trio exited the suite, Ohannes turning back for a last wistful look.

“Gabriel,” Ohannes replied. “When the other fellows and I were serving guests at a party, he was always Master Blackwood, but when we were alone together, he asked me to call him Gabe. He was always gentle with me. Even when he whipped me, he was careful not to really hurt me. I liked being spanked with the riding crop before he fucked me in front of his guests. I loved feeling his thick cock pounding my ass while I watched the partygoers jerking off.”

Nyarlathotep's Journey: A Son of Azathoth #SnipSun #8Sunday

Genre:
Fantasy Romance

Length:
3000 words (approximate)

Heat Level
🔥

This story contains no graphic erotic scenes. It features a heterosexual romantic bond and a birth scene.

Blurb

This story reveals the origins of the ancient cosmic sorceress Yadira Root, daughter of the Outer God Nyarlathotep, and Queen Nathicana of the doomed world of Zaïs. It provides a unique interpretation of Nyarlathotep, the most nuanced and intelligent of H.P. Lovecraft's Outer Gods.

Snippet

Azathoth, the embodiment of primordial chaos, tended to spawn chaos. Because it required a way to bring balance to the chaotic forces it spawned, it created Nyarlathotep.

Nyarlathotep sprang from the writhing mass of Azathoth fully mature. Unlike his siblings, he possessed the power of reason and quickly learned that an attitude of benevolent leadership was the most effective approach. Nyarlathotep could assume any form, and he used this ability to his advantage.

Once the worlds he had helped form and populate were autonomous, Nyarlathotep moved on. As he traveled, he contemplated his nature. That he was necessary delighted him without making him prideful. That he was different from his progenitor and siblings was evident, and he desired to understand this difference.

Naughty Netherworld News 18 October 2021

Sometimes Amazon's dumbassery is actually a good thing. They never got around to changing the name of the Team Netherworld author page. This may work in my favor, as I ended up deciding that I favor the byline C.L. Hart for my non-erotic fiction writing.

C.L. Hart is close to my real name (Cara Hartley), which I use as my byline for poetry. I may start including the Ornery Owl byline on my poetry books in parentheses. After all, it's only fair that people are aware that they are dealing with a round, grouchy owl who writes epic poetry.

I'm still working on my piece for submission to The Colour Out of Deathlehem, which will be published by Grinning Skull Press. I'm currently at 7000 words (the cap is 10,000 words.) The story will need a little cleanup. You know, a word or two here and there, because I am that proficient. First draft? Hah! No such thing! My stories flow from my fingertips in a state of perfection that causes lesser authors to have nervous breakdowns!

If you believe that, I have some great beachfront property in Tombstone, Arizona that you are sure to appreciate.

Anyway, such is life here in the sticks in my tower of doom. I know that you all live for these scintillating updates so I make sure to provide them when I can. After all, I wouldn't want to keep my adoring public of -666 fans hanging.

The following snippet is spicy and contains mucho manly lust. If that sort of thing really is not your bag, Baby, please avoid this snippet.

As Peregrine Varga slips deeper into the shadows of his past with his possessive and controlling first love, executive clone Lèandre Anandi Bruhn, shocking truths are revealed. Can Peregrine ever break free of his dark past, or is he doomed to remain enslaved to Lèandre—and to Finn Storm—forever?
The Cloned Heat Cliffhangers are usually short, spicy tidbits. This installment is a full novella in honor of Halloween, the best-loved holiday for writers and lovers of tough but tender bad boys and wicked and wanton villains.

Read the preceding six-sentence snippet shared with Rainbow Snippets if you wish.

Snippet

Daniel possessed a slender yet muscular physique, a flawless cappuccino complexion, glorious hazel eyes sparkling with gold and green flecks, and luscious cocoa curls streaked with candy apple red. His silky brown nipples reminded Peregrine of the decadent chocolate confections that Lèandre so enjoyed, and he blushed as he found himself hoping that Lèandre might notice his attraction to Daniel and decide that he’d like to watch his beloved boy toy play dirty with the delicious tattoo artist.

Lèandre noticed the way his young lover licked his lips as he appreciated the scantily clad ink-master’s smooth, muscular body. A mischievous gleam sparkled in his eyes as he ran his finger teasingly over Peregrine’s left shoulder.

“What brand shall we mark you with, ma belle Peregrine?” Lèandre inquired. “Shall we have this fuckable tidbit emblazon your flesh with a sign declaring you the property of Lèandre Anandi Bruhn so that none can mistake who your master is?”

“You are my master, my beloved Lèandre,” Peregrine replied. “I will always declare it proudly. But I think that something artistic would be more appropriate to our love than a blatant sign. Why don’t we ask the artist what he thinks? He is the expert, after all.”

“Yes, that he is,” Lèandre agreed as he fastened a leather collar with a heart-shaped lock around Peregrine’s neck. “He looks to be multitalented. I hope to see his pretty mouth wrapped around your cock before the evening is out. Ah, but there is time enough for plenty of fucking later. The night is young. What do you think, ma gourmandise? What image do you think would convey the bond between myself and my best-loved concubine?”

“I think an ornate letter L here on his shoulder surrounded by flowers and enhanced by lavish lines and swirls,” the soft-spoken artisan suggested. “This will represent best the beautiful bond of love and commitment between you.”

“Then let it be done,” Lèandre concurred. “If I like it well enough, I will allow you to experience ma belle Peregrine’s erotic gifts for yourself tonight. Enjoy, but mind that you do not forget to whom he belongs, oui?”

Thirsty Thursday: Eldritch Updates 8 October 2021

Greetings Naughties! I am excited to announce a pen name change. I have requested that Amazon change the Team Netherworld pen name to C.L. Benton.

I was never really happy with the Team Netherworld pen name. I write poetry under my real name (Cara Hartley) and erotica as Lil DeVille, but I couldn't think of a pen name that really floated my boat for my non-erotica writing.

This year I learned about the Deathlehem anthology, published by Grinning Skull Press, and I decided that I wanted to create a story to enter. I initially put my real name on the title page, but I wasn't quite feeling it. I decided I'd figure it out later and started writing the story.

Yesterday while doing a few edits, I decided to play around with my byline. Because this year's Deathlehem anthology is going to be titled The Colour Out of Deathlehem, I decided to give a nod to Mr. Howard Phillips Lovecraft by creating a first two initials and last name byline. Ta-da, C.L. Hartley is here!

I still wasn't really feeling it. There wasn't anything wrong with it, but it just didn't bang my gong. I thought about the surnames of my predecessors. C.L. Sargalis (my paternal grandmother's maiden name) didn't have quite the right feel. C.L. Edwards (my mother's maiden name) was better, but then I tried out C.L. Benton (my maternal grandmother's maiden name) and it felt just right.

I briefly considered going even further back in time to find the right pen name. I once traced my mother's maternal lineage back to the third century and discovered some very impressive Norse ancestors, such as an Icelandic princess whose name has been lost to history, the Swedish king Egil, and the Norwegian king, Eystein the Fart, whose mighty name had me chortling like Beavis and Butthead.

In Norwegian and Swedish, "fart" means fast. But I'm a 100% Heinz 57 American and a Beavis and Butthead fan to boot.

C.L. Egil is a cool enough name, but it sounds more like the author of epic historical adventures. C.L. Eystein would be fine, but it would be more fitting for the author of stories featuring heroic scientists saving the Universe with their brainy ways.

In the Scandinavian countries, C.L. Fart is a name that probably wouldn't raise eyebrows or cause readers to start cackling like Beavis and Butthead, but here in the United States, such a pen name is best left to creators of comedy. If you happen to fall in that category and are looking for a pen name, you're welcome to use it. All I ask is that you give Naughty Netherworld Press a nod since we're still growing our audience!

Terrible Twofer: IWSG and Writers Pantry

Greetings, Victims! Today I am wrecking the writing world by answering two questions.

If you are the sort of person who is easily offended by profanity, I would suggest avoiding this post, this blog, and pretty much anything written by me at any time ever.

The first question is from the Insecure Writers’ Support Group.

In your writing, where do you draw the line, with either topics or language?

If by “language” you mean cussing, there is no fucking line.

Not all of my stories contain copious swearage, believe it or not, but when it comes to colorful language, I don’t hold back. However, to every cuss word there is a season, and I am not going to fill a family-friendly story with foul language.

Does it surprise you to learn that I write family-friendly stories?

Well, I absolutely fucking do!

Granted, I usually write for an adult audience, but I am currently gathering illustrations for a family-friendly story that I wrote in 2018 called “Ed’s Red Wheelbarrow.” It’s the story of a misunderstood vampire.

As far as topics go, there really is no line there either. I write erotica (which does not get mixed up in my family-friendly stories) and I endeavor to make it clear that all smutty activity in my not-so-family-friendly stories is consensual.

I don’t draw the line at any topic because I think it’s necessary to be able to talk about any topic. For instance, I had a story rejected because the main antagonist was a horrible racist. I personally don’t think it’s sufficient to just say “Mr. Smurkwhittle was a horrible racist who chased jailbait.”

The character was horrible, and the story is more effective if I can allow him to be despicable and offensive. The jailbait he was chasing turned out to be an ancient vampire from beyond the stars.

The second question is from Poets and Storytellers United.

Why do you write and share?

Given that I’m entirely aware of the fact that my writing is an acquired taste that most people don’t have sufficient taste to acquire, I would have to say that it’s because:

A) I'm too pig-headed to quit while I'm behind

B) I enjoy torturing my audience.

The Blurb

When Pingucury raiders attack their rig, hunky roughneck clone foreman Iker and his equally buff pal Peregrine are forced to flee. The friends encounter Ohannes, a sweet and submissive pleasure clone who offers them shelter.

The Snippet

“You’re Hangiri riggers,” the young man noted. “I’m glad to see you. I’m Ohannes Herod Hertz. I was the stable boy here at Blackwood Ranch.”

“Stable boy?” Iker inquired, eyeing Ohannes suspiciously. “Where are the animals?”

“I set them free. The Pingucury treat animals with more respect than humans.”

Why am I such a tease?

I am aware that some of you feel that my 8-10 sentence snippets are too brief, but this is what is considered appropriate for most other blog hops that I participate in. The Cloned Heat stories are approximately 3000 words each. If I shared an entire chapter every time, I'd share close to the entire book in a month. I'm not going to do that.

You can read the full first chapters from each new Cloned Heat book during MFRW Steam/MFRW Retweet day.

Although this post isn't explicit, the story that the excerpt is taken from reaches Nuclear Blast levels and is decidedly not for the faint of heart.

Blurb

As Peregrine Varga slips deeper into the shadows of his past with his possessive and controlling first love, executive clone Lèandre Anandi Bruhn, shocking truths are revealed. Can Peregrine ever break free of his dark past, or is he doomed to remain enslaved to Lèandre—and to Finn Storm—forever?

The Cloned Heat Cliffhangers are usually short, spicy tidbits. This installment is a full novella in honor of Halloween, the best-loved holiday for writers and lovers of tough but tender bad boys and wicked and wanton villains.

Snippet

Stumbling through shrouded memories, Peregrine recalled the night of the masquerade ball at Master Lèandre’s mansion. Lèandre had gone all out, hiring technicians to turn each room into a holographic playground. This was no mean feat, as Lèandre was one of the Xawei Conglomerate’s most treasured executive clones; thus, his astronomical salary allowed him to expand his home into a literal palace, complete with hundreds of rooms. Peregrine had been Lèandre’s concubine for ten moon cycles, and he had not yet explored the entirety of the expansive abode.

Lèandre had hired dozens of acrobatic performers, hundreds of dancers, and ten tattoo artists to delight his guests. Prior to the commencement of the festivities, Peregrine and Lèandre sat with one of the artists, an attractive young pleasure clone named Daniel Linus Rosário.
