I try to get comments published as quickly as possible. I have ADHD and anxiety and sometimes I need to work myself up to be able to respond to comments. I don't always reply to comments on my blog, but I do try to visit as many people as possible when I participate in blog hops. I share your work on the monthly Roost Recommendations posts at ornerybookemporium.blogspot.com so others can discover your work. I do read and appreciate your comments.
Sorry, the Captcha is back and this time it's staying. I was inundated with spam comments when I turned it off. I wish butt rash on all the spammers out there.

How about Ambrose Bierce as a backup?
ReplyDeleteOh, absolutely. We're both curmudgeons so we might get along infamously.
DeleteLovecraft is my son's favorite and mine is Stephen King. What is wrong with us?
ReplyDeleteWe're a twisted lot! ;-)
DeleteMy son, who is a very kind and helpful person, enjoys playing Payday, a notorious shoot-em-up bank heist game. He said that the thing a lot of people don't understand is that games like Payday are over the top and that's what people like about them. Actually robbing a bank wouldn't be fun in the least.
Stephen King has been a very popular choice this month. Maybe I should be reading more books by him.
ReplyDeleteIf nothing else, read On Writing. He has some excellent suggestions. However, his chosen work environment would make me claustrophobic and drive me batty. I like to be able to look out the window.
DeleteI hadn't heard of her. I'll have to look her up.
ReplyDeleteI find 2020 too bizarre, and it's my own time!
I love that you'd insist that he accept credit. That is true appreciation and respect. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting on my blog. You asked about the blog hop, and I replied back explaining how to join and how it works. It's pretty simple. :)
Take care!
