Dear Shep,
It shouldn’t be too hard to forget about that
baffling dream when there’s so much going on this month. Father Taras Koszorús roped
the football team into helping with his Fourth of July Project. He really didn’t have to
twist our arms. What kind of heartless Scrooge wouldn’t want to support a
charity helping Arizona’s foster care programs find permanent homes for kids?
I may have molded myself into an archetypal hunk
with the help of Dad’s money, but I always get tears in my eyes when Father
Taras tells his story about being adopted by the American G.I. who rescued him
during the Western Allied Invasion of Germany. I hope we can
make this a great celebration for the kids. There’s going to be a big cookout
with music and games followed by fireworks. I’m so proud to be part of it.
