I was so grateful that Jalil hadn’t seen the wet
spot on the massage table. I crumpled the sheets and put them into the hamper.
“J, do you want me to take this laundry out to
your car?” I called.
“Nah, Man, I’m good,” he hollered back. “Pop
and I will get it later. Go on and take the afternoon to have a nice walk or
something.”
The dream was just a fluke, wasn’t it, Shep? I wasn’t
